Oops! First Big Snub on the Emmy List I've Seen So Far, Ashley Jensen in Extras

UPDATE: I'm sorry, she entered the supporting category and got a nomination, oops! Well, watch the clip anyway, because she was brilliant.

Really, Ashley was heartbreaking in the Extras Christmas special and show finale as Maggie Jacobs gave up so many of her dreams and found herself cleaning toilets in an office building ... and I'll tell you there were moments etched on her face that I will never ever forget.

And all this from a show with so many comedic elements. That's what made the show so notable.

The nominees in the lead actress, mini or movie, are:

Phylicia Rashad, Raisin in the Sun
Catherine Keener, An American Crime
Susan Sarrandon, Bernard & Doris
Dame Judi Dench, Cranford
Laura Linney, John Adams

And I continue to search through the nominations for newsworthy stuff, they are at this link.

Extras Christmas Special Update -- On HBO Sunday 12/16 at 9

Exrtas_christmasSo, now you don't have to illegally download from a torrent site or search endlessly for it at Divx Stage Six or YouTube.

Just FYI, stuff that you wanna see is all over the net, you just need to know where to go to find it and how it might be catalogued by the people that have uploaded the stuff. Sometimes it takes putting together seemingly disparate search terms, sometimes you need to be quite creative -- but the stuff is there.

And since I already ran the teaser trailer from BBC earlier, I thought I would post this clip package thrown up on YouTube by username skill13815, which brings together some of the most cringeworthy moments of the show's all too brief (and Emmy winning) run.

The cast for this Christmas finale includes George Michael, Clive Owen, and ....

Doctor_who_doc

... that guy, the Tenth Doctor, David Tennant.

May not mean much to you, but here we take out Doctor Who seriously (well, not too seriously) thank you.

In fact, I got my sonic screwdriver yesterday. Battery installation was a bitch, but at least now I can open locked things and lock open things.

I would have posted one of my Clive Owen pics from Comic-Con, but they all sucked (sucked like a vacuum, to be frank).
