I gotta tell you, if I was CW chief Dawn Ostroff, I would have had Rock playing something on the show (even if it was with Eddie Murphy-style prosthetics) once every sweeps period since she got the show from UPN.
ABC managed to get Salma Hayek to guest on Ugly Betty in the first season. This is the third season for EHC.
From Broadcasting & Cable:
Aliens, a single-camera show about a Pakistani exchange student and his U.S. host family, joins the Monday night comedy block at 8:30 p.m. after Everybody Hates Chris (which itself should get a boost for its season premiere-show creator Chris Rock guests for the first time ever as the guidance counselor).
The show Aliens in America, mentioned as the leadout from Chris next season is a half hour comedy about a Pakistani exchange student and his host family. It joins the other CW comedies on Monday, and I know nothing about them because I watch CBS comedies and then Heroes.
There's more on the Fall sked for The CW at the link above, including word that the South African project has a name now, called Life is Wild.
Beauty and the Geek is on Tuesdays in the Fall, and I couldn't care less about the rest of it. That includes you, Tyra, except it would be good if you, Tyra would get off your ass and make sure Top Model has a union shop by next season.
And if not, there will be more pounding the pavement, I'm sure.
Plus, folks, we just might have an industry-wide writers' strike by the time Fall comes around, so fill those DVRs just in case.
If you click on that little graphic just above this, you can see the entire CW Fall 2007 schedule. Remember they are dark on Saturday nights.
And if you see anything there you want me to look into, leave a note in the comments.
