For all of you (which this year includes me) who can't get there this year, G4 is doing you quite the solid and bringing you there through the magic of that thing in your living room that all your furniture faces.
They kick things off with Olivia Munn (she of the recent Playboy spread) and Kevin Perreira (he NOT of the recent Playboy spread, though if he wants to send me some Poloroids I'll post 'em here, he's not bad to look at) hosting the Star Wars Spectacular panel Saturday at 2 eastern.
Their press release:
The Star Wars Spectacular! will be hosted by
Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn, and broadcast on G4 for TV audiences, for the
first time in Comic-Con
history. The panel will feature
never-before-seen footage, breaking news, surprise announcements, guest stars,
a live table read of an exclusive new Clone
Wars script and much more. The panel will feature a wide array of
exciting panelists, including Steve Sansweet (Lucasfilm’s Head of Fan
Relations), Star Wars: The Clone Wars supervising director Dave
Filoni, voice actors Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka
Tano), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Catherine Taber (Padmé Amidala),
Tom Kane (Yoda), and several other surprise guest stars.
Surprise special guests, folks! That's code for big reveal in my book. What'll it be? I dunno, but you can promote your take on it in the comments section if you like.
Even the day before the official start of the Con they'll be there trolling the floor at the Convention Center and getting you ready, on Thursday night at 7 eastern on Attack of the Show.
Of course, AOTS will be live from the floor again each day, which is cool when you're there. I got to see Clive Owen up close in 2007. Yum, tasty guy.
Saturday, three hours of live coverage from the floor, and they're touted guests like James Cameron, Peter Jackson, Megan Fox, Ben Foster, Rob Zombie,
the cast of 24, the cast of the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie and the cast of ABC's upcoming V.
And more. And more. And more. And, I assume as in years past that they will rerun the coverage just as they end the coverage, so you can watch it twice. And maybe three times.
Megan Fox and Ben Foster. Mmmm, I would pay to watch that, how 'bout you?
And finally, the G4 site will be packed with Con goodies, exclusive vids, more Olivia (for you fans of her) and Alison Haislip, Kevin, their comic book expert Blair Butler, Blair Herter and Chris Hardwick, host of G4's Web Soup.

This is MY link to the Con this year, make sure it's yours.
