Anna Chlumsky on "30 Rock" and Signed for CW Pilot

I had no idea that the young woman playing Liz Lemler, the woman dating Jason Sudeikis' character on 30 Rock who Liz Lemon got transfered to GE's Connecticut office was Anna Chlumsky, star of the "My Girl" movies.

I saw "My Girl" at the Fairfax Cinemas across from CBS sitting right behind Keanu Reeves, in 1991, and all he did the entire movie was get up to use the phone, over and over. When I left, he was in the lobby, on the phone. Pissed me off.

But enough about me.

She's grown up into a lovely young woman, btw. One with a CW pilot upcoming. From Zap2It.com:

Chlumsky has landed one of the leads in "Eight Days a Week," a comedy about the harried assistants of the rich and powerful. Chlumsky has guested on "Law & Order" and "30 Rock" this season.

The show is about young assistants of bigwigs in NYC. Sounds like "The Devil Wears Prada" only not job specific. I gotta figure the show won't be for me, as I am an adult man and not their demo.

Why do I say that? Because The CW is the one network that makes sure to let me know it's not for me, an adult man. How, with every piece of marketing material that passes over the transom, actual and electronic. Even Lifetime ("Television for Women") seems more interested in my viewership than The CW.
