NBC News' Richard Engel Comes Home For a Couple Days

Don't ask me why, but whenever I see an Iraq war reporter home for a few days, I breathe a sigh of relief. I don't really know why. It's not like I really know these people.

Still, I notice when they return from time to time and I especially notice, on the men, that their shirt collars are too big for them when they return (really noticeable because for the most part when they are "in theatre" they don't wear ties. And they certainly don't have enough time to "fill out" again in the few days they're home before they go back into the war zone.

Richard Engel from NBC has been there since the war started, almost without a break, and just came back for a few days to appear on the NBC news properties to promote his new book, "A Fist In The Hornet's Nest."

Here, in two sections, is his appearance on the Tim Russert Show, which is the other show he does besides Meet The Press and may not be seen in all parts of the country except for its run on CNBC on Sunday evenings.

BTW, if you click through YouTube to find the guy who posted these clips it takes you to a porn site. No, I can't figure out why. Seems a strange combination, progressive politics and porn. My theory is the guy is trying to educate the masses with a bait and switch technique that starts with porn and ends with politics.
