I know, I suck for slinging crap at Taylor Hicks. It's not his fault, really. He just should have never been chosen by a group of American teenage girls to be a pop star.
Having said that I betcha with the $100K that Pia will pull in for singing at a private party next weekend in Los Angeles (check this Hollywood Reporter story) is probably more than Hicks made on his debut album.
Maybe she'll sing Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me again. But if she doesn't, those partygoers and you can hear her sing it again in the clip after the jump. She's wearing a dress no doubt inspired by J.Lo's Grammy Awards dress, worth the click.
UPDATE: The Soul Patrol is swarming around me on Twitter. It was a joke! Get over it. And ... made ya look!

Are you really that stupid? Hicks debut album was the 3rd highest album of all idol albums. Plus his near 4 million from Grease plus his 250,000 from commercials plus his 750,000 from book. And still selling for 24 DOLLARS at his shows and quite well too. Just this week he did 2 sold out shows with people in the merchandise line a mile long. Pias got a long way to go. Numbskull.

Idiots, I was kidding. He's a guy you don't even know from a poorly cast season of a TV talent competition and look at all the energy you've invested in defending the guy. Unless he's giving you all the cash he's making this degree of loyalty you're showing him is misspent.
Spend the same amount of energy caring for your families or helping your communities and you will have really accomplished something. This blind devotion to a stranger is, frankly, a bit ridiculous.
No, it's a lot ridiculous.

Thing is you don't know what you are talking about. Blind devotion has not one thing to do with it. I've never been blind about anything, not about to start now. Defense has nothing to do with it. My family is well taken care of and devoted to me and each other, do not worry. Its about justice, its about misinformation and a desire to set the record straight. I have been more than repaid in great entertainment for the miniscule amount of time I have spent on the internet. It doesn't take long to give someone the real facts.
Hicks fans are a community that comes together when there is a need. As in supporting childrens hospitals, cancer research, tornado relief, wounded warriors and many other things that he and us are involved in.
We are just fine and he is doing well.

Oh forgot, sorry I called you a name. I don't usually do that. Peace. :-)

This thread is now closed. It's always the annoyed superfan that makes me close a thread. I don't care to spend the time on this.
