Dock Ellis (seen left before a game getting his jherri curl on?) was a Pirates pitcher in the 70s that I actually saw pitch live at Three Rivers sometime in my teenage years. My seats were not good enough to notice if he was trippin', though I'm sure I wouldn't have had that knowledge at the time.
