Not health, not care, not reform.
Watch it at this link.
Pelosi's office practically hung up on me to boot. The second I said I was a lifelong Democrat her office sent me to voicemail without even telling me that they were doing it.
The California-based Democratic Speaker of the House's office dissed a California Democrat. No one disses me without me hitting back.
Read my Daily Kos diary today at this link, which includes ...
Screw you Nancy Pelosi, I'm not going to support a healthcare bill that ends up being a giveaway to the insurance companies just so you and our ball-less President can say they got a bill passed.
I'm a lifelong Democrat and a 25 year resident of the State of California, and I refuse to be treated in this way by the President I voted for and a purported Democratic leader in the House who can't stand up to Congresspeople from her own party.
It's not just Lieberman, it's not just the insurance companies' astroturfing campaigns, it's the failed Democratic leadership in the House, in the Senate and in the White House that led to this debacle. This bill is now a giveaway to the insurance companies. We will be mandated to buy coverage and if not we'll be fined, labeled lawbreakers.
I have other options to get my healthcare, options that would actually allow me to get my healthcare for free. I never have gone that route, thinking other people needed that safety net more than I do. I'm now going to consider that over giving these insurance companies more of my money.
As Keith says, it's immoral and a betrayal to the people who elected Democrats overwhelmingly to the House and drove President Obama to a seven point victory in '08.
Your President has no balls. Sans Testicles. Lacks cojones.
He's shown himself to be an outright pussy and I'm done.
DONE!

Wait...it takes till now for you to see this was going to turn out to be a bad idea in the end. Oh those Tea Party people were nuts weren't they

They ARE nuts, they're the reason this bill is so frickin' watered down. They are the reason it became a giveaway to Insurance Companies.
The public option wasn't gov't run healthcare, it was gov't run health INSURANCE. Had nothing to do with socialism. The Tea Party assholes don't even know the meaning of socialism, they interchange it with Marxism and Communism freely.
And ultimately, the vast majority of the Tea Party crowd were and still are just racists. Say what you will but I read the signs in those protest crowds.
Don't bring me your snark without knowing what the fuck you're talking about. And read the post next time, Scott. You can read, right?
My problem is this President is a frickin' wuss. Bipartisanship my fat ass, it doesn't exist with guys like Cantor, McConnell and the rest. They're only interested in wresting power away from people of conscience and grabbing cash.
I'm not interested in passing "some bill" just so someone can have a signing ceremony and claim victory. That's what a Republican would do. I didn't vote Republican. And I never would, I have serious differences with anyone who is for self-aggrandizement over making this country a better one for all.
Once again, to review, Tea Party people still nuts, you not reading the whole post and comprehending it sad, Obama's a pussy who cowtows to assholes like Joe Lieberman.

WOW....Just WOW!!!!!! Yes I did read the post and yes I can read. I'm not the problem here...you voted for a guy with zip...zero...NO LEADERSHIP ability. You bought into it hook line and sinker and now your angry that these people went with they're own self interest over the good of the people. Welcome to Washington.
Hey I'm with you on most of your points I'm an Independent, and Knew from the second this guy got elected and wanted to change health care that the people would get sold out. After all this bill doesn't effect they're health care now does it?
Yet you too are part of the problem....I'm glad your done. Very happy. Now can you stop calling people assholes and racist it really belittles whatever point your trying to make.
Lastly as you've just found out signing a bill so someone can have a signing ceremony and claim victory doesn't make them a Republican...that makes them a politician

Whatever dude, you would have probably voted for Sarah.
He had leadership in the Senate, it's when the scum came after him that he caved.
What would Sarah do? She would have let the banks fail and you would have been standing in a bread line.
McCain has a different opinion based on the weather, too. So who's your guy, Ron Paul? Ron Paul would like public education to go away. If that happened everyone's sentence construction would be just like yours.
I'm a democratic socialist, I admit it. You still haven't told us what you support, just what you don't.
There's nothing wrong with a social safety net, and it's in our national interest to keep every person in this country, and not even just the citizens but all people, in good health.
In fact, it's a matter of national security.
So, what DO you believe in? And how would you get there? At least I support solutions to our issues, you just diss my opinions.

Hey Scott Nolastname, where did you go? Why haven't you told us what your solutions to these problems are? Don't be like "your kind" and just rail against people trying to do the right thing for all people in this country, step up with ideas, man!
Ideas and execution of them are the only things that are going to get us out of this mess that George W. Bush left us.
I want your ideas, here, on this blog. I would really like to know what you think.
You're not just being obstructionist, are you? That would make sense, of course, because it's what the opposition to ideas always does.
Step up, be a man and keep this discussion going.
