Quickly, so that I can get back to the screener (thank you Rommel, Showtime, ITV, all y'all), it really is hotter than ever.
Billie looks great. I love her like gay men in the past have fallen for Marilyn, Bette, Cher ... okay, not as MUCH as Cher, but the love's there still.
Series three starts with the release party for Hannah/Belle's new memoir and guess who shows up incognito to see how it goes?
Ben's back, picking up on book publicists and throwing them rather haphazardly onto beds where he just might be having a little trouble, uh, performing.
Then, meetings for Hannah with editor, played by James D'Arcy (HBO/BBC's Into The Storm, Fox's Virtuality) and more, ahem, research for the followup tome with only three months to turn in a first draft.
No doubt you read (possibly here) that British scientist Brooke Magnanti has now come forward as the real life author of said volume. ITV plans for a hourlong program featuring Billie Piper speaking with Ms. Magnanti about her three lives as a call girl and university student and now respected scientist.
Hopefully we'll get to see that here, too. I'll check with my Showtime source and let you know.
No clips yet, but I'm on it, trust me.
The show returns on January 25th at 10 on Showtime in the US, and looks to be coming back around the same date on ITV in the UK.
