It is getting more and more apparent that Tricia Helfer, seen above in her iconic BSG red dress, is the go-to gal for TV nerdvana.
And, I have to say, it's working.
Since the BSG miniseries, Helfer has guested on:
- The Collector (Canada)
- Supernatural
- Burn Notice
- Chuck
- Human Target (Upcoming on Fox)
And, she was attached to the David Eick/Fox/Paramount (that's three big media shingles for those of you keeping score) pilot Them which you will sadly never see. Plus, she's the voice of Dare in the upcoming Halo 3 game.
She's currently in Los Angeles filming an indie horror movie called Open House for director Andrew Paquin (that's Anna's brother) and those of you who watched Warehouse 13 last Tuesday know that she's this week's guest star.
Busy lady.
The Human Target pilot, btw, is non-stop action from start to end, she's great, the show is gonna hit big (I've seen a rough cut, not really supposed to talk much about it) and make a TV star out of Mark Valley, finally.
(And it should do something additional for Jackie Earle Haley's recharged career, too.)
I have three clips for you ... one from IGN interviewing Tricia about her role in this week's Warehouse 13, a moment from the action-packed Human Target pilot and finally Tricia being interviewed on the red carpet for the NHL Awards in June.
Canadian gals certainly know their hockey.
Tricia will be back at Comic-Con 2009 San Diego this year with the voice cast of Green Lantern -- First Flight, the animated DVD feature that releases on July 28.
