2 Clips -- BBC Hamlet with David Tennant & Patrick Stewart Set for 2010 US Air Date

So, David Tennant is the new host of Masterpiece on PBS, his Hamlet is coming to the US in video form and there's renewed interest in a Doctor Who movie with Tennant in the lead.

Variety:

The major players in the cast of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 2008 production of “Hamlet,” including David Tenant and Patrick Stewart, have been reassembled for a screen version that will air on UK channel BBC Two later this year and in the U.S. and Japan in 2010.

It looks to me like someone's making a concerted effort to establish a US fan base. And, I think it just might work for him.

I can't imagine it won't. He's very charming ... and Clive Owen's not getting any younger.
