She talks to Long Beach, CA rocker Corday (Jennifer Corday) poolside in Key West, which I though was appropriate.
I will lose serious gay points if I don't at least link in this post to the Village People video for Key West. And I would if I could but I can't find it. Anywhere. Help from anyone would be appreciated.
(Corday, btw, is an Envy Records artist and does a web show for SheWired.com, which I don't click over to enough and I should and I apologize to all the people who keep SheWired going because it's a great site.)
So, how many gay people were in the love scenes in Top Gun? Well, at least one who has confirmed it.
Kelly McGillis also came out as a woman who won't color her hair for a film role in this clip, by the way, joining the likes of many including myself and the beautiful T.R. Pescod who think the whole hair color thing is just not for them.
(Speaking of T.R., have you seen him in the new Macy's ad with Clinton Kelly from What Not to Wear? He looks great. I would love to know what him and the guys he walks toward the camera with are thinking about that make them look so happy. Maybe it's just ... ACTING!)
After the jump, I have the full vlog from Corday poolside with the wonderful Ms. McGillis, who, although you hardly ever see her on screen anymore has been very active in live theatre and who is in fact starring with Julia Duffy (Newhart, Designing Woman) in a production of The Little Foxes at the Pasadena Playhouse starting May 22.
Interesting what news outlets still think coming out is a big hairy negative deal for actors. The first mainstream site I saw a link about this from? Fox Noise.
Of course.
Get tix for Kelly's Pasadena Playhouse run of The Little Foxes at this link.
Clip after the jump.
Oh, and Corday will be performing during the Cinco De Mayo celebration at Taco Beach on Pine Ave. in downtown Long Beach right near my old place, in fact, and that's very obviously on May 5, which is a Tuesday.
