First Look Video -- Set a Spring Date With Edie Falco as Nurse Jackie on Showtime
I was at Showtime's clip page and noticed they had posted this and wanted to get it to you ASAP.
Nurse Jackie is Edie's return to pay cable, where you can tell these kinds of stories warts and all and not worry about the problems of advertisers, the Parents Television Council (as you know not good friends of mine), network too-many-cooks situations and the like.
Jackie is a nurse in a NYC hospital. The question all the promo materials ask is this: Is she saint or sinner.
You'll see from the clip after the jump that they never really let you know.
Things I do know? It's a half hour, shot on location, and will show up sometime in the Spring. Also, Eve Best, who won an Olivier in the UK for her Hedda Gabler is aboard as well, so they are taking the casting here very seriously.
Of course, we most recently saw Edie on TV in those great 30 Rock guest appearances as Cici, Jack Donaghy's secret Democratic Congresswoman girlfriend (image left).
