Around the Horn With Our Web Friends, a New Regular Feature
Let's go around the horn to see what's going on with some other TV blogs.
At Sofachip, Jessica Rae says:
I had misplaced my love for Pushing Daisies over the summer. I’ve
redeemed myself now. I am so glad that I tuned in last Wednesday to see
the season opener, “Bzzzzzzz!” (Public Service Announcement: Remember,
only you can prevent bad TV-watching decisions.)
Inner Toob, the realm of Toby O'Brien, writes about Mad Men:
Our pal Dan McCallum at Ducky Does TV:
I cannot wait for the October 16th episode of SUPERNATURAL
entitled “Monster Movie.” Sam and Dean will meet some of the classic
black and white classic horror baddies and it looks frakkin’ fantastic.
And, finally, Rob at The Medium is Not Enough writing about the US version of Life on Mars:
Many of the changes have been for the better. The move to New York is
undoubtedly a good idea and the producers have actually done some
research about the time and established a sense of place, including a
breathtaking shot of the Twin Towers, something sorely lacking from the
pilot. The 2008 police work no longer looks like science fiction in its
own right, but something far, far closer to normal world policing. It's
in these areas that much of the original material has been restored and
of course updated for the new setting.
