Video -- 90210 Preview, Show Renewed For Remainder of Season, PTC Keyboards Deafening, Girls Still Too Skinny

So, it was not really a surprise that the Parents Television Council's favorite (to complain about) Fall show has been renewed. Betcha they're writing to Congress now to see what they can do. Note to you letter writers, it's not working and in fact it's doing the opposite.

The CW has decided to pick up the back nine on 90210, possibly so that their too-thin stars can afford a pizza (or seriously, some rehab -- maybe not the inpatient variety but something).

Nah, they can see that the show's working and it's gonna be a cash cow for them, that's why.

The much buzzed about "90210," from CBS Par TV, was the first new fall show to premiere. After a blazing start with a two-hour debut Sept. 2 that was seen by 4.9 million viewers and posted the highest-rated series premiere in the CW's two-year history in women 18-34, adults 18-34 and adults 18-49, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff dropped precipitously in its second airing but recovered nicely last week to average 3.3 million viewers.

"The successful addition of '90210' has taken The CW another step forward in building a cohesive schedule that defines this network as a destination for young women with shows that get our audience talking -- and watching," CW's entertainment president Dawn Ostroff said.

What Ostroff better be doing is making sure these young women on this set don't self-destruct. She should handle it herself if she has to. Not to do so, Dawn, is just criminal.
