New Fringe Clip: "A Cow? He Wants a Cow?"
And for more about cows in general, click over to this TV Squad post from Comic-Con last month.
Great scene and some great ensemble work. John Noble, another Aussie import (along with Anna Torv) plays the scientist that had to be sprung from a mental institution to save a life, but of course ends up leading our fateful crew to even bigger, scarier questions (like, "Is a crazed genius using our planet as his own personal laboratory?").
Also, watch Joshua Jackson. Sure, this role is somewhat a natural progression from Pacey, but all I can say is that he's taking it to another level.
And you get a bit more of Torv, who is getting nothing but raves since mine yesterday.
In fact, now that the bottom rung of the feeders (meaning people at my level) have all gotten the screener, the comparisons between Torv and Cate Blanchett are coming too fast to count.
I just love shows that are smart and challenge you and are a great mental workout and you know what, when you mix that with new faces, some old friends and great writing (Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman -- Kurtzman video after the jump as well if only because he has such a pretty mouth, and I know I shouldn't objectify so much but it's SUCH a pretty mouth) and directing.
If this is a party, I'm waiting at the front door with a nice gift for the hostess! Maybe some nice stemware with a bottle of Chardonnay that her and her husband can share later on.
And, btw, Astrid, who is FBI Olivia's assistant, that's Jasika Nicole, who was in The Return of Jezebel James and who I think is very good, and beautiful. Go to her website to learn more.
She's an artist, too. Nice work.
Clips after the jump.
