Is the BBC Offering Big Big Bucks to Keep Their Current Doctor?

Den of Geek:

Last week, we reported that William Hill had lined up a list of candidates for the next Doctor Who, and had begun taking bets. Some of the names were obvious, some were just odd.

But according to a report in The Scotsman, the BBC may have other ideas. For they are believed to be preparing a seven-figure offer to carry on as the Time Lord for some time yet, with a salary of £1.3m mooted. According to the report, talks are set to kick off with Tennant in the near future, to try and put a deal together.

I will be keeping you informed. I would link to The Scotsman report, but I can't find it at their site. If you do, please send me a link.
