The thing is, the hard right gov't in Israel just eats this stuff up, they don't seem to mind that their allies in the Evangelical community are just supporting them as a means to their own ends. The Israeli Jews who bask in the glow of this support just don't seem to care, including the Lieberman types.

Makes me sick to my stomach that after all these centuries we're still doing this stupid shit.

USA supported Israel, at first, to their own ends. Due to the latent socialist nature of the baby-Israel nation (i.e the way the kibboutz were organized), it could have become USSR ally, who was also inclinated to extend its influence in Middle-East during the first days of the Cold War...

Plus, I guess W.' just jealous of Obama because he didn't have a proper campaign anthem, as "yes you can", back then.
The only thing close to a song he had was Cheney's strange sounds and his vultures gang.
