Dalek Costume Sells on eBay for £3,200
It was among the first officially licensed Dalek suits to be made after the launch of the BBC show in 1963. Only a small batch were made before the factory burned down.
The suit attracted attention on the internet auction site eBay because it is thought to be the only one remaining with its original box.
John Jackson, 45, of Chester, put it up for sale, thinking he might get £10. It was bought by a Doctor Who fan from Virginia, USA.
