BAFTA Awards Sunday, Red Carpet From E!, Ceremony from BBC America
The BAFTA Awards, where you might see someone you don't always see, as in every day on your teevee. That's why I tune in, because I like to keep up on what's going on across the pond.
And, the red carpet will actually air a day after the awards on E!
Ben Lyons is taking his little friend, TV's Ryan Seacrest, to London (actually they have already arrived) to work the crowd ahead of time, but because E! already has the Grammy red carpet on Sunday they will postpone till the next day after your nightly does of news on The Daily 10.
As for the show itself, it will air on BBC America on Sunday at 8 eastern, 5 pacific, and they will run the show again two more times right after that, so you have no reason in the world to miss the BAFTA awards this year.
The nominees are here. Atonement has a massive number of noms at 14. And this year for the second time the show happens at the Royal Opera House, Convent Garden.
And because I can, here's nominee Ellen Page (Juno) talking about her film.
I love Ellen Page. If I had a daughter, I would want her to be Ellen Page.
The host is Jonathan Ross, he's a film critic and does a late night show in the UK.
